Hey y’all, I’m Aimee! I’m so excited that you are here!
I’m a Texas State Bobcat, a Jesus loving, Bible studying mom of three, and the photographer behind Aimee Hamilton Photography!
Photography has always been a passion of mine. I truly treasure all the {mostly} candid moments that are turned into tangible memories. When I was a little girl, I spent a lot of weekends at my Grandma’s house. I just loved when she would pull out the albums and tell me all about every photograph in them. I loved seeing myself as a baby, my parents’ wedding, holidays, and family gatherings. I know I have her to thank for my photography obsession!
Becoming a mother made me realize that I wanted to freeze every moment of my children’s lives. I have so many pictures from those first years! I very quickly realized that photography was something I was so drawn to. I dove deep into learning the technical side, composition, and editing, and eventually signed up for as many workshops as I could find. From there, this amazing business that I love so much really blossomed! It developed into a style all about capturing this beautiful journey we call motherhood.
I’m also an autism mom, so I know firsthand that every child has their own way of connecting, exploring, and showing us who they are. I want you to feel comfortable sharing what helps your little one feel at ease! Whether we need a little extra time, a break, or room to move, that’s okay. There is no expectation for your children to be anyone but themselves!
My husband and I are both Texas natives and have lived in the DFW area for over 15 years. We love both Dallas and Fort Worth for different reasons, but we love raising the Hamilton littles near Fort Worth, in Aledo, TX! Our three keep us busy with school, sports, and everything in between. If you’ve never visited Aledo, you’d love our small town charm, boutique shopping, and avid sports fans. Aledo football is famous statewide!

The amount of patience that Aimee has is so great and a crucial trait to have during a newborn shoot. It was mesmerizing to watch her bounce, change and prep our babe and a skill that I don’t believe is something that can be learned. After finishing our shoot we received our images in 3 days and LOVE THEM!
