What is an intimate Maternity Session?
An intimate maternity session is usually a studio maternity session that shows a bit more skin than a traditional maternity session. In my opinion, the “intimate” nature of these sessions focuses on the mother’s body and her love with her growing baby. You can see for yourself, but it just seems like such an organic way to photograph such a short time in your motherhood journey!

That is honestly totally up to you! All of my sessions are customizable to meet your vision so that we photograph you and your baby the way you want to remember it! That said, a session will typically go a little like this!
We will start the session with the dress of your choice. My clients are more than welcome to bring their own dresses, but most use my client wardrobe, like the Free People dress below. I will photograph you in the dress and then we’ll pick a pair of jeans and your favorite bralette, like this one! I love adding something for you to do with your hands, like a hat, kimono, or chunky sweater in the winter. Finally, the session usually ends with the bare minimum, bra & undies!
The mama in this session, chose to photograph her pregnancy with two dresses and just one more intimate look. Again, these studio maternity sessions are all about you and your comfort level! Also, like the mama in this session, we could even use my new black wall for a modern & trendy look!
