What is Lifestyle Newborn Photography?
Honestly, the answer to this question can vary depending on who you ask. In my opinion, a lifestyle session is just a newborn session without the more “formal”newborn poses. (Those require a lot of equipment including posing tables and lighting that are just too difficult to travel with.) Lifestyle newborn sessions take place in a studio or your home. The best part is that a newborn session isn’t just for the baby! Your session includes Mom, Dad, and any siblings the baby may have! (And, oh yes! I have some tricks to make this a smooth session with toddler siblings, too!)

One of the many reasons that moms gravitate toward lifestyle newborn portraits in your home is that you don’t have to pack the baby (and kids) up and go anywhere! Sometimes in the early days, you are just most comfortable in your own home and that’s totally okay! It’s normal to feel nervous or stressed about having to pack up all that stuff! I’m happy to take some of that stress away by coming to your home with my wraps, blankets, and bows to make your experience as smooth as possible! My goal is always to make your experience as easy going as possible.
