Okay, last week, I shared a maternity session from The Lumen Room in downtown Dallas. It only seems fair that I share a newborn session at the Lumen Room from the same family. Spoiler alert: It’s stunning!
About The Lumen Room Dallas: Lifestyle
The Lumen Room is a natural light studio that actually has several locations all over Dallas, Plano, and Fort Worth. Each location has features that make it unique, but each one also offers one thing that I love: abundant natural light and lots of white walls. Your newborn session at The Lumen Room is sure to be stress free and relaxed because all you have to do is arrive! No cleaning, no decluttering– just get in the car and go! This particular location was The Lumen Room: Lifestyle in Downtown Dallas. We used their beautiful bassinet and green couch as newborn props that turned out GORGEOUS!
The Lumen Room is available to us to rent by the hour making it an easy choice for all of the portrait styles that I offer!
Studio Maternity + Newborn Portraits
This sweet family has booked multiple sessions with me, but I think its obvious that they really love the ease of the indoor studio. This is their second baby and second set of maternity and newborn pictures with me! (Woo-hoo for clients who come back over and over, right?) Studios are just so easy! There is no worrying about weather, like an outdoor maternity session. I mean who wants to shoot a maternity session outside in August!?

Stunning Newborn Session at The Lumen Room
Okay, now let’s chat about this newborn session! While this was photographed at a studio. It’s still what I call a lifestyle newborn session because I’m no longer using my posing equipment. Am I still posing your baby? Kind of! I absolutely curled this baby up on the studio’s forest green couch and LOVED the outcome. I also wrapped up baby Charles and put him in a basket. There is so much we can do to get gorgeous newborn portraits for you! Personally, I’m a sucker for those sweet sibling pictures that show lots of engagement!
